Affirmations: The Choice is
Yours
Affirmations are powerful tools and vital ingredients
in the recipe for success. After all, whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right. Many successful
people say that the most important trait you can possess is a positive attitude. Affirmations reflect what you believe to
be true. Here are some examples of affirmations:

I can’t do it.
* I hate myself.
* I’m ugly.
* I'm stupid.
*
I knew I would mess up.
Surprised you didn't I? You thought affirmations
were only positive things you say to yourself. Affirmations are simply affirmations. They can be positive or negative. They
solidify any thought or idea you have. They can work for your advantage or disadvantage. They will be your strongest supporter
or your greatest obstacle.
The beauty of affirmations is that you can control
them once you are aware of what you are doing. Start listening to your internal dialog. You may be surprised to find just
how often you negatively affirm. Nothing good comes from negative affirmations so beware of them. Once you identify the negative
affirmations, you can replace them with positive, confident and empowering thoughts. Remember nothing we experience comes
labeled, we label it. The power to choose is yours. And look at the difference:
* I can do it!
* I love myself!
*
I’m beautiful!
* I'm smart!
* I knew I could do it!
If you plant rose seeds you get roses. Plant seeds of happiness, success, hope and love; it will
come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature. Choose to surround yourself in positives. Affirm daily until it
becomes second nature. You will be living a life of positives. Negatives belong in a photographer's studio, not in your
mind.
